COME & SKATE IT COMPETITION: SATURDAY, SEPT. 1 – 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to College Station…matter of fact it’s been 6 months, how time flies. The GHSP is a sweet park and there are some rippin skaters there.  I suggest you sign up and roll up to College Station Sept 1st. 

Ready to put your skateboarding skills to the test? The Come & Skate It competition will be Saturday, Sept. 1 at G. Hysmith Skate Park, located at 1520 Rock Prairie Road. The competition is set for 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and will feature age 15-and-under and 16-and-over age divisions. Prizes will be awarded in each category, and participates will receive a shirt, goodie bag and wristband. All participants are required to wear helmets.

MAIN EVENT ($10 for all 3): Lord of the Lines, Best Trick- 4 Stair Selection & Best Trick- 8 Stair/Rail/Bank Selection

SIDE EVENTS ($5 each): Doubles- Big Bowl, Jam Session- Pool & Highest Ollie

Attendees can also enjoy watching exhibition riders, playing video games provided by Clockwork Games & Events, shopping and eating at vendor booths. The event is sponsored by PepsiCo, C-Ment Skate Shop, 101.9 The Beat, Rock 103.9, HEB and Clockwork Games & Events.
